ROHDE+ROHDE Warranty Statement
ROHDE+ROHDE, Owner: Ursula Rohde, provides a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase on all front plates and frames manufactured by us within the CAMBRIDGE, NOVA and MAXIM product series.
ROHDE+ROHDE, owned by Ursula Rohde, grants a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase on the front plates and frames we manufacture from the CAMBRIDGE, NOVA and MAXIM series.
The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects.
Excluded from the warranty are scratches, normal signs of wear, and damage resulting from improper installation, non-residential temperatures or humidity levels, cleaning with anything other than pure water or a soft cloth, as well as damage caused by external influences (e.g. heat, tension, pressure, impact or deformation).
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within one month after discovery of the defect.
If repair is not possible and no replacement product is available, we reserve the right to refund the purchase price.
Proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim.
The warranty applies exclusively to customers located within the European Union.

Note on supplied products
ROHDE+ROHDE supplies light switches, sockets and accessories.
The frames and front covers (collectively referred to as “faceplates”) are manufactured by ROHDE+ROHDE.
Electronic components such as switch mechanisms, socket outlets and similar items are manufactured by AVE S.p.A., Italy, and are delivered in the original AVE packaging.

1. Warrantor
The sole warrantor is:

ROHDE+ROHDE Ursula Rohde is not the warrantor but may assist with the process upon request.
2. Scope of the Warranty
AVE guarantees the correct functioning of its products for a period of five years,
covering manufacturing defects and quality-related faults attributable to the manufacturer.
3. Exclusions from the 5-Year Warranty
The following product lines are not covered by the 5-year warranty and fall exclusively under Italian Civil Code and Italian Consumer Code regulations:
- Products of the Green Division
- Products of the Light-Blue Division
- (e.g., security systems, burglar alarms, fire detection devices, technical alarm systems)
- Products of the Domina Division (home automation, hotel management)
- Fans and other ventilation devices
4. Start of the Warranty Period
The warranty period begins with:
- the production date, identifiable from the batch code on the product, or
- if this is not available: the delivery date, proven by a valid purchase document
- (receipt, invoice or similar).
5. Submitting a Warranty Claim
Claims must be submitted in writing within one month of discovering the defect.
6. Exclusion Grounds
The warranty is void if:
- products were not stored properly,
- products were not installed according to applicable regulations,
- the defect is not attributable to AVE.
7. Warranty Procedure
For authorised returns within the warranty period:
- AVE examines the product,
- confirms any non-conformity,
- and replaces the product with an identical or equivalent item.
